Behind the Scenes: the Process
Gita Suharsono is a rising star in women's MMA. The former news correspondent will be fighting in her ONE Warrior Championship debut in Singapore in February. AMULET by D is proud to team up with inspiring women like Gita.

For her upcoming fight, Gita wanted a ring to wear to the press conference, and a necklace she could wear into the cage and take off easily. I love collaborating with others, and sent her a look board of stones/samples I thought would look great on her.
The red and green tourmaline stones Gita chose are cut in an asymmetrical shape with microfacets to catch the light; red/pink tourmaline guides the heart, and green tourmaline boosts courage and strength, which are both auspicious for a fighter. Using these stones, I created a ring that — with its open design — Gita can wear on several fingers and twirl with comfort.
Gita chose a citrine drop and tanzanite — believed to increase clarity and foster emotional balance, respectively — to accompany a gold ball chain and silver tag with her initial. I added the peridot square for healthy body and relationships. I hope her AMULET by D brings her good luck and happiness.
